At Del Rainbow, we acknowledge our capacity to make an impact within the Fashion Industry. The Fashion Industry is one of the highest consumption industries in the world. This impact can be as large or as little as you choose but a positive impact nonetheless.
There are three key pillars to consider- environmental, social and economic. Del Rainbow wishes to focus on attributes within companies that contribute to the sustainable fashion movement and foster change.
We are responsible to move forward with more knowledge and awareness than those before us and create a brighter future for the fashion industry. We can change the impact we have on the future and make a difference. It is imperative to us to carry brands that hold these attributes close to their ethos and are making positive steps for a greater future.
We believe in working together mindfully to create our unique difference and change for our future, our industries future, the consumers future and their mindset, awareness and knowledge. We are inspired to ensure designers and businesses are focused on creating product with a consciousness and energy that comes from a positive place for the receiver, creator and environment. Product or any material thing has a consciousness, it holds an energy behind it and that energy is then passed onto the receiver, it is our responsibility to ensure that each piece is passed on with incredible energy and great intention. The impact that we can make on our eco system and environment is significant, it only takes everyone making small steps to create a larger impact.
We are each responsible. We have a responsibility for our impact. We believe it is our job to problem solve and take steps towards sustainable practices, to take steps now and create sustainable strategies to change our future. We would like to ensure that our consumers have transparency into attributes of each business. This may be ticking one box or many, nevertheless, awareness surrounding this and what we can do to have a better policy or mindset is our ‘why’.
We hope to offer visibility and transparency into practices behind the businesses and focus on ‘doing better ‘and sustainable policies. Our focus is on the conscious consumer who is actively seeking to gain knowledge/ awareness surrounding what they are purchasing. We see the desire to be educated and have a deeper connection with who the brand is and what they stand for. Del Rainbow hold this true to our core ethos and within our brand mix, have a sustainability check list and guideline for each brand to review and complete for us annually, so we can understand what steps our partners are taking to work towards a brighter future.
