Our brands receive annual sustainability reviews to promote transparency, so that we can understand what measures are being taken to improve sustainability practices and guide them into new areas of reform. These benchmarks are centred around areas of:
Carbon offset measures through partner programs such as Carbon Neutral and 1% for the Planet
Considered materials including promoting the use of ECONYL, REPREVE and other recycled fabrications and implementing recycled packaging where possible
Considered practices such as choices to implement the use of deadstock and end of roll fabrics and natural and certified organic sourcing of hemp, line and cottons
Social responsibility such as factory SA8000 Certification (regarding working conditions) and Plant-A-Tree in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor by Carbon Neutral
Supply chain certification in accordance with Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX
We are proud to share that our brands also often participate in ‘give-back’ schemes in response to environmental and humanitarian causes. Some of the recipients include Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), bushfire relief, International Women’s Day, Thread Together, UN Women Australia, wildlife rescue and Worn for Good.
